Brought my 2009 Matrix in for oil change, alignment, airbag recall, some small service items. Was given 5 star treatment by everyone I came in contact with. Because the airbag recall took a long time, the dealership provided a loaner vehicle so there was absolutely no waiting involved. The service adviser, Mike Young, kept me informed as to the status of the vehicle. Will continue to use this dealership for all future service. We are looking to purchase another Toyota in a year and will definitely be heading up to Alton.

I have been buying cars from Mungenast going back to 1983. Everyone there is friendly and makes me feel welcome. No one touches my cars but my Toyota dealership. I have them serviced by the book and they never break down. Mike recognizes my voice on the phone and schedules my service needs around my schedule. He makes sure any discounts available are applied even if I am not aware one is available. I am a happy customer.

Very good but too long wait for oil change service. Took 1 he 44 min. People were great and comfortable accommodations. The wait time is my only complaint.

Alex and Evan were both great to work with. Test drove with Alex, he explained all the details of the car to us. We looked at other car lots and their salesman didn't explain anything about the cars. Julie runs the rental department at Alton Toyota. She treated me like family. She always takes care of me. My rental car is clean and pulled up for me when I arrive. I brought my 08 Rav4 in for service because it was making a squealing sound. I figured it was probably a bad belt and/or pulley, which is what they found. A couple days later they called saying the vehicle was ready so I road my bicycle 16 miles to pick it up. After I payed I hopped in the car, noticing they washed it inside and out. I take all my vehicles and my daughters Camry to Alton Toyota. Six vehicles in all. Last servicing was done on 11-25-2014. Kevin Gryzmala made arrangements to get my 2007 Tundra Limited in on 11-24-2014 and completed on 11-25-2014. I chose to drop it off and left for a day. I went to the dealership Saturday afternoon to look at a Hyundai Sonata that was on the web site. I was told that that specific car (hp9400) had been sold that morning. Well, it had been on the site for 3-5 days already, so I figured I was too late. Now, here it is Monday afternoon, and that exact car (hp9400) is on the website. Confusing to me is what it is. It seems to me that I was lied to. I don't really appreciate that at all. I may not trust this dealership ever again. Your loss.

I brought my car in for a recall. I also mentioned a rattling which started in the past day or so. They checked it all out and said the air filter was missing and the canister was left open. I will never take my car anywhere else for so much as an oil change since apparently the last place I used took out my air filter and failed to tell me! What next, they won't remember the oil? I had a 2008 Camry with an oil comsumption problem at 85,000 miles. I had a 100,000 mile warrenty and took it back to the dealer I purchased it from (Jay Wolf, St. Louis). Every time I keep changing to make it a covered repair. They told me I had to call Toyota, that I could get better results than they could. This dealership is world class. They have been honest in dealing with me. Making sure I understand what maintenance is required, nothing more and nothing less. If there are discounts available that I do not know about, they tell me and let me claim them. Work has been done right every time except for once. Then they went out of their way and worked as a team to make it right. They follow up with me after my visit to make sure I am still satisfied. I dealt with about 6 employees of your dealership during my 2 day visit which ended with my purchasing a 2011 Sienna.From the greeters to the salespersons,to the sales manager, to the finance officer, to the parts department and finally to the ladies that called me after the purchase. I have bought two vehicles from them in the last 3 months. Gordon, Ashley, and Dan Ley are great. Toyota obviously puts out great cars and suvs. So do a lot of other car manufactuers. So, what sets them apart. There really is not one area or another that stands out. It's the whole package. Maybe it's Gordon's cool Maui Jim sunglasses.

We had a really positive experience buying our Sienna. Due to circumstances at home, I could not make it out to Alton until 6:00pm. I recently leased a 2011 Toyota Camry for my daughter from Dave Mungenast. This is my fourth vehicle that I have gotten from this dealership. The salesman that I always deal with is Geoff Valdejo. He is very friendly and wonderful to work with. He always takes his time with me and helps me get the best deal possible. I live over an hour away but I always go back to this dealership because of Geoff and the great service that he gives me.

Great experience with the deal. Above average trade in for my old car. Very competitive pricing on the new RAV 4. Easy financing and didn't have to wait very long. I've had all my follow-on service done here and I'm very pleased. I've referred two others to this dealer and the salesperson - both purchased as well. I'll buy from this dealer again.

This is our third purchase from Gordon Carver. He always has time for us even when he is extremely busy. If he is not available when we call, he always returns our call promptly. When we start talking about numbers, he is always willing to work with us and give a little. He is not pushy or demanding. We believe him to be an honest individual. We also recommend that he be given a large raise in salary. We hope that Gordon in still at Mungenast Alton Toyota when we purchase our next expensive automobile.

Friendly staff, easy to work with, good experience. We knew exactly which car we were interested in and drove away with it, at a good price, a few hours later. Our only complaint was that the finance department was understaffed that day and we had to wait over 2 hours to finish the paperwork for the deal. Everyone was very apologetic for the wait, but still wasn't much fun waiting around.

My 2007 Camry broke down on a Saturday afternoon so I called Alton Toyota and spoke to Mike Young in the service department. I thought nothing would be done until at least Monday but in a matter of an hour my car was towed to the dealership and I was leaving there in a rental car.
