What Makes the Mungenast difference?

In 1965, Dave Mungenast, Sr. opened a small Honda motorcycle retail and service store in South St. Louis, Missouri.  He learned early in this endeavor that repeat and referral business were the keys to long-term growth and success.

As his customer and employee and product base grew, this principle of doing business in such a way as to develop repeat and referral customers remains at the forefront of all that we do.

Dave Mungenast, Sr. passed away in September 2006, but the Mungenast Automotive Family has prospered due to our commitment to the principles that he instilled in our company and our successes continue at www.mungenast.com.

I feel honored to represent his legacy at the new Mungenast Alton Toyota-Scion at 850 Homer Adams Parkway in historic Alton, Illinois.  I feel fortunate that we've assembled our best team in serving the Riverbend community, sponsoring events like Alton's Riverfest and Bark in the Park.

Our Toyota growth and your continuing support have enabled us to build a state-of-the-art Toyota and Scion retail center serving all of the Greater Riverbend area.

Our commitment to excellence has been recognized eight times by Toyota with Toyota's President's Award--in 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009!
